2009 is most enjoy and happiest new year for me,,because my family get together.it so nice to see that our family is complete not only during new year but all the time.

Me and my mother went to the market to buy foods for new year eve.after that we go back to home and prepare the food to be cook.when i finished cooking i started to put a food in the table,and i make a plan of what i want to do to make my new year more enjoyable,i prepared a gift for my sisters and brothers,and i make a parlor games,,after a few minutes my boyfriend came in my house i feel so nervous and shy,but deep inside i feel so happy because he make my new years complete,,while waiting 12 oc'clock we have a parlor game,,it so exciting and so happy,,,when it is exactly 12 oc'clock we have fire crackers,,we eat,,we jump,we shout everything heheheheh,,thats all!!!!mwahhhh

Christmas season

I must say Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. It's a time when all our friends and family get together and celebrate. But what are we celebrating and why? Many people don't have a clue where Christmas comes from or why we even celebrate it. Well I am going to attempt to explain it and give people a better understanding of it. It not just about Charlie brown, Christmas trees, stockings, light and presents. Even though that's what we associate with Christmas.

Where did all the stuff for Christmas come from?
From November onwards, it is impossible to forget that Christmas is coming. Colored lights decorate many town centers and shops, along with shiny decorations, and artificial snow painted on shop windows. In streets and shops, 'Christmas trees' (real or plastic evergreen 'conifer' trees) will also be decorated with lights and Christmas ornaments. The custom of sending Christmas cards started in Britain in 1840 when the first 'Penny Post' public postal deliveries began. (Helped by the new railway system, the public postal service was the 19th century's communication revolution, just as email is for us today.) As printing methods improved, Christmas cards were produced in large numbers from about 1860. They became even more popular in Britain when a card could be posted in an unsealed envelope for one halfpenny - half the price of an ordinary letter. Traditionally, Christmas cards showed religious pictures - Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus, or other parts of the Christmas story. Today, pictures are often jokes, winter pictures, Father Christmas, or romantic scenes of life in past times.

What about the man in the red suit:
Father Christmas is based on a real person, St. Nicholas, which explains his other name 'Santa Claus' which comes from the Dutch 'Sinterklaas'. Nicholas was a Christian leader from Myra (in modern-day Turkey) in the 4th century AD. He was very shy, and wanted to give money to poor people without them knowing about it. It is said that one day, he climbed the roof of a house and dropped a purse of money down the chimney. It landed in the stocking, which a girl had put to dry by the fire! This may explain the belief that Father Christmas comes down the chimney and places gifts in children's stockings.

So this was just a short version of where Christmas came form, but there are lots of other info form where it originated and why we do some of the things we do in the spirit of Christmas.

The New Year is here again, another year gone pass so quickly. Sigh, have you looked back in exasperation at last year's resolution that you haven't get to fulfill? Why do people make New Year resolution anyways? Does it really help you get focus on the things you want to do for the New Year? Well, I have been through so many New Year resolutions list and honestly never ever fulfilled anything. Why? First of all, I realized if there is anything I want to change about my life, I do not need to wait for the end of the year to make a resolution for next year. Why not now? If you feel something needs desperate change do it now. Do not wait any second; do not procrastinate till the New Year.

The real resolution is to start now. Many people have the perception that New Year comes with new resolution. I was one of the people. However, I began to think that it was just a trend or New Year ritual that everyone from around the globe follows. It is like gifts for Christmas, only now it is resolution for the New Year.

However, having resolutions is good meaning you have set your goals on what you want to do or want to accomplish for yourself. Whatever your motivations for these resolution, do it now. New Year will come and go but your resolutions will always be resolutions if you don't act on it now. What is resolution? Resolution is defined as dreams or goals that you'd like accomplished. This could be changes you've been wanting to make in your life; it could be a new haircut, a makeover on your lifestyle and many more. The list is unlimited. If you look at them, these would be things you could accomplish in your daily life. The question is whether you are energized to do it or not. Thus, this New Year, my resolution is not to make any. I have goals but I don't need to put it on resolution. I'll just live my life and do it.

Its new year again,time to change the bad things in the past and make it new.Some of my friends ask me what I want this new year or what is my new year resulotion.Im just thinking in my mined, that I need to change first my attitude,because this past years im very ‘’‘PASAWAY’’’.I want to be a good girl to make my friends proud to me.The second is I have to study hard so that I can finish my study and work more harder so that I can help my parents and to make also my employer proud of me. And I wish this new year I have a good health,more strong,and brave to all the problems I overcome,not only me but also my parents and my friends,my relatives,and special some one heeheheh..thats all!!!
